About the San Francisco Office
The San Francisco office is committed to design excellence, high performance building and client service.  We believe that design can elevate the human experience.  We have an active Young Professionals Group and experienced professionals to mentor and support goals and licensure.
 
We are looking for an Sr. Interior Designer to work on a variety of projects and tasks as an integral member of the San Francisco team.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
The primary duties of the Senior Interior Designer include extensive involvement in all phases of the planning and design of architectural interior projects including: management of the interior design scope and tasks, organizing and leading interior project teams, functional space planning and design, architectural and detail coordination, client management and presentations, interior materials palette design and selection, design and selection of furniture and furnishings, and coordination with lighting, wayfinding, art selection and signage.
 
The ideal candidate will serve as a primary contact with clients, consultants, and if necessary public agencies. Experience in developing high performance, sustainable design and planning solutions is preferred. May be assisted by other Interior Designers or technicians and is responsible for work in all phases of the interior design process. Please submit both a resume and portfolio for consideration.
 

Qualifications

 
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design.
  • Position requires 10+ years of experience.
  • Experience in Healthcare, Science + Technology, or Higher Education is preferred.
  • Must be a hands-on designer with client leadership and marketing experience.
  • NCIDQ certification is required.
  • Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED required.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
