Primary Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Water/Wastewater Project Engineer is to work in design team environment to create detailed designs, plans, specifications and estimates for pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, tanks and other  wastewater systems. More specific responsibilities include engineering/process design, project coordination, determining and writing engineering specifications, planning work, establish appropriate design methods, report preparation and coordination, equipment sizing and selection and working directly with the owner. Will be viewed as a technical expert with recognized experience in area of water/wastewater systems. May serve as a project manager on projects.

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering required, MS Civil/Environmental Engineering preferred
  • Idaho PE (or ability to obtain in 12 months) required
  • 3 - 10+ Years Experience with Water/Wastewater Systems Planning and Design.
  • Software knowledge: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD or Revit familiarity, Hydraulic modeling software.
  • Project Engineering and Project Management experience is necessary.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
