The Role

Lincoln National Corporation seeks an Analyst, Application Development in Fort Wayne, IN, to develop, modify and provide post-production support for business solutions by using Informatica to create new applications. Design and develop applications systems and determine implications and financial impacts of proposed solutions on operational and infrastructure support. Analyze, design, code, debug, integrate and test software application solutions for systems. Translate high-level design requirements into detail design and ETL (extract, transform, load) mapping specifications. Collaborate on the development of project, test and implementation plans including determining estimates on time frames and resources to complete project. Work with lead developers as well as infrastructure and security teams to ensure data architecture and solution design are in line with business standards. Utilize Visio to develop flow charts, guidelines and process diagrams. Design and develop communication protocols, maintain Oracle packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers and views. Write database stored procedures and DDL (data definition language) for Oracle database 11g and above and SQL Server database 2012 and above. Perform coding using Informatica Power Center 10.x to create new applications. Utilize Perl, Batch and Unix scripting for designing and automating processes. Possess demonstrated design experience in design architecture, data warehousing, data migration, and data integration with ETL mechanism using Informatica 10.x and database applications. Schedule jobs using Autosys. Work in an Agile pod using Scrum methodology. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field. 5 years of experience must include: (I) Writing database stored procedures and DDL for Oracle database 11g and above and SQL Server database 2012 and above; and (II) Performing coding using Informatica Power Center 10.x to create new applications. 4 years of experience must include utilizing Perl, Batch and Unix scripting for design and automating processes. 3 years of experience must include: (I) Demonstrated design experience in design architecture, data warehousing, data migration, and data integration with ETL mechanism using Informatica 10.x and database applications; (II) Scheduling jobs using Autosys; and (III) Working in an Agile pod using Scrum methodology.
