The Role


This position will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. Specially, s/he will assess opportunities to optimize key processes and applications to enable continuous delivery of applications and application support within a managed service provider model.   S/he will partner with managed service providers, internal partners, and external vendors to build, maintain, and enhance relationships to achieve business objectives.




  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Assesses and recommends solutions to optimize and streamline key processes.
  • Consults and acts as a subject matter expert to management and key stakeholders on identified process improvements that impact efficiency, departmental capabilities and/or return on investment.
  • Optimizes applications within his/her assigned area of responsibility across various build teams.
  • Champions a culture of continuous improvement and delivery through coaching and mentoring.
  • Builds and fosters relationships with managed service providers and vendors.
  • Organizes and facilitates meetings with managed service providers and vendors; directs engagement with appropriate internal and external resources to research questions and drive resolution of issues in a timely manner.
  • Develops corrective action plan for recurring incidents.
  • Develops and implements complex contingency/recovery plan for systems.
  • Consults and acts as a subject matter expert to appropriate internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure application solutions meet business needs.
  • Identifies and recommends solutions for operational efficiencies gained from increased automation.
  • Monitors, identifies, and implements industry-accepted best practices and trends in application development and support that enable continuous improvement and continuous delivery.




  • 4 Year/Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelors) (Minimum Required)




  • 5+ Years’ experience in Business Process Improvement, and/or IT service delivery that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. Required)
  • Expertise with, Informatica PowerCenter, SQL Server
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of Data Warehousing/architecture concepts, ETL mappings/ configurations
  • Familiar with technical automation and tools kits including GitLab, DBMaestro
  • Understanding and/or previous experience working Agile delivery methodologies
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.
