The Role
This position will perform and deliver on routine assignments for his/her assigned area of responsibility independently in accordance with established procedures/guidelines. S/he will be responsible for performing services to support workspace planning and design and for drafting concept drawings utilizing Computer Automated Design (CAD) equipment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with workplace design specifications and space planning activities to create a professional and collaborative workplace, one that fosters innovation, engagement and productivity.
  • Assist with staff relocations to align with workplace occupancy goals.
  • Proactively provides updates and manages all project status and communication to key stakeholders and business leaders. 
  • Perform space audits and conduct walk-throughs to ensure space data and floor pans reflect existing conditions and to assess functionality and general condition.
  • Add/update space information into space management software.
  • Analysis on reporting on space needs and utilization in narrative and graphic presentations and formats.
  • Update AutoCAD floor plans per campus renovations/additions.
  • Lead the procurement and management of the installation of workplace furniture by providing recommendations on the layout and selection of furniture and finishes that are compliant with the Company’s furniture standards.
  • Manage overall project timelines  Track project progress against business objectives, budget and schedule, to ensure a successful project delivery.
  • Work effectively alongside project team including architects, interior designers, general contractors and other necessary vendors.
  • Perform other tasks or special projects as required.

 

Education

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) or 4+ years of comparable work experience

 

Experience

  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.
  • Demonstrates the ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements.
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates solid relationship management skills with internal and/or clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, customers, etc.).
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and other technologies.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD software.
