The Role

As a Senior Financial Processor on the Alliance Payroll team, you will be responsible for analyzing, researching and processing financial transactions related to Alliance program Payroll Contributions, Loan Repayments and other payroll related transactions in a timely manner while meeting or exceeding the department quality standards.


Action Oriented

  • Processes financial transactions and money in for payroll, loan repayments and other payroll related transactions
  • Collaborates with team to ensure all transactions are processed in a timely manner
  • Provides technical retirement plan information to internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Works closely with plan sponsors and payroll contacts as well as account and relationship managers
  • Assists with day to day training and mentoring of team members
  • Provides input to unit managers, business processing experts and/or trainers for needed changes in workflow process
  • Supports and promotes change management, as well as departmental/enterprise initiatives


  • High School diploma/GED or minimum Associates Degree in lieu of required experience


  • 0-1 year of general experience need not be directly related to position
  • Processing or similar experience that aligns to the responsibilities for the role preferred
  • Proficiency in at least one primary processing system, such as AWD or TRAC preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel preferred
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multitask while maintaining strict attention to detail
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
  • Possesses a bias for action and avoids workplace distractions
  • Drives tasks to completion
