THe VP of LFN Transformationprovidesdirection and thought leadership on all strategic projects that support Lincoln Financial Networks (LFN) technology platform and offerings for advisors and clients. S/he will ensure the delivery of technology projects related to the business strategic initiatives that enhance LFNs ability to serve clients and increase advisor and staff productivity through digital offerings. In addition, s/he will drive change while ensuring alignment with LFNs broader business and financial objectives.


  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with executive/senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future strategies.
  • Leads the identification, development, and implementation of strategic process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality across the team, business unit, and/or the organization for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Leads and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides training and development opportunities, including stretch assignments, for team members and gives honest and open feedback to aid in the development of talent.
  • Leads, establishes and implements priorities, performance goals and objectives to achieve key business results for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Guides and evaluates departmental performance and takes appropriate action to meet and/or exceed performance standards for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides thought leadership and functional expertise to internal/external stakeholders for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Contributes to business unit/operational and enterprise strategy creation for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Ensures that top talent is hired and retained for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Builds organizational capability within his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Leads/executes approved strategy for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Develops a strategic vision for overall project leadership and delivery of LFNs technology solutions.
  • Oversees LFNs integrated technology solutions projects while simultaneously ensuring that the operating platform(s) provides the desired business value and results.
  • Leads the development of LFNs integrated technology strategic vision and operating platform which encompasses technology strategies and architecture and supports multiple distribution channels and meets customers needs.
  • Ensures the appropriate prioritization of technology needs across the line of business while simultaneously determining technological needs vs. wants, budget considerations, and timetable requirements.
  • Provides thought leadership, strategic consulting, and analytic perspective to senior management and key business stakeholders on operational and project management strategies and risks.
  • Oversees and drives transformational change leading to executable strategic and tactical plans which meet strategic, simplification and operational objectives for LFN.
  • Leads the Advisors solicitation process to ensure Advisor needs are understood, listened to, and incorporated into the integrated technology platform/tools.
  • Oversees the management of all relevant agency and vendor relationships including vendor due diligence, vendor selection, implementation(s) and applicable licensure compliance.
  • Establishes metrics and performance monitoring systems to provide senior management with quantifiable gauges of the delivery of business results and impact of strategic plans and tactical initiatives.
  • Develops and executes appropriate data governance for platform and financial data.
  • Ensures information being fed into the enterprises systems is accurate and in compliance with management guidelines and applicable regulatory agencies (SEC, FINRA).


  • Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
  • Remains current in profession and industry trends.
  • Makes a positive contribution as demonstrated by: - Making suggestions for improvement - Learning new skills, procedures and processes
  • Performs other duties as required.


  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
  • 12+ Years change management and project management leadership experience. (Required)
