The Role


This Accounting Specialist/Analyst position will perform and deliver on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of his/her assigned area(s) of Accounting responsibility. S/he will prepare, record, analyze and report suspense accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.




  • Collaborates effectively with applicable key stakeholders across the enterprise to facilitate the accurate and timely completion of the trade transaction process for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Communicates to management on recognized trends of issues/concerns
  • Prepares, records, analyzes and reports suspense accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles
  • Identifies, researches and resolves discrepancies or out of balance situations amongst assigned suspense accounts
  • Monitors, analyzes and researches outstanding suspense transactions for reporting assignments by breaking down problems to identify root cause for assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Ensure monthly account reconciliations are accurately completed and distributed to key business contacts
  • Clearly summarize all outstanding transactions on reconciliation template and ensure items are researched and resolved in a timely manner


Education & Experience

  • 4 Year/Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelors) is Minimum Required
  • 1 - 3+ Years of experience in accounting or finance that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Works with mathematical concepts such as averages and/or variances
  • Ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution
  • Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to perform in a fast pace and/or stressful environment
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment
  • Demonstrated solid relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues).  Minimal travel.  #LI-AY1
