The Role

This position will consult/analyze and deliver on more complex Desktop Support assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. S/he will be responsible for the workstation engineering process for managing Apple MacIntosh computers in an Enterprise environment. S/he will act as a resource to stakeholders and provide input to project plans.


  • Responsible for the workstation engineering process for managing Apple MacIntosh computers in an Enterprise environment.
  • Support Ticket Queue Monitoring / Troubleshooting working with end users and system analysts to resolve Windows Engineering assignment.
  • Support MS based multi-site environments and provide technical support to other support teams and team members.
  • Leveraging of Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory, Symantec Encryption consoles to troubleshoot reported issues.
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.


  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)


  • 3 - 5+ Years of experience in application support that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)
  • Competency in Microsoft System Center Configuration Management 2012.
  • MS Active Directory Knowledge around Logon and GPO processing
  • MS SCCM Console
  • Application and deployment support via SCCM
  • Technical knowledge in all layers of a workstation.
  • Proven Multi-Task, Multi-site responsibilities Competency in Microsoft Windows Workstation / Server operating systems
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with management, business customers, development teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and with little management oversight
  • Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP and Ethernet.
  • Strong project, change management and documentation skills.
  • Understanding of Sarbaines-Oxley, SEC and other regulatory requirements and guidelines related to the financial services and insurance industries.
  • Ability to maintain composure while working under pressure during major network and systems emergencies.
  • Ability to quickly grasp, understand and use new technologies. #LI-KM1
