Job Description

Build web applications that deliver meaningful data to the world.

As a front-end web developer at Gallup, you'll create the environment for everything our users see and interact with in a web application. Drawing on your experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, you'll design, develop, test and maintain our website and single-page applications. In addition to working across multiple existing sites, you'll also build new platforms, creating your own standards and patterns that will be used and reused widely across www.gallup.com. Staying at the front of cutting-edge technology and working closely with UX web designers, you'll create user-testing scenarios, provide technical solutions for proposed designs and offer recommendations to help us boost performance on our sites.

What you need:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related degree
  • Three+ years of experience with CSS, JavaScript and related tools such as Less/SCSS, Node.js, gulp, Webpack and Rollup
  • Two+ years of experience with version-control systems (Git, TFS, SVN, etc.), content management systems and cloud web services
  • Experience working in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements definition, design, development, QA, release and maintenance
