It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work onsite for three (3) or more days a week and will have a dedicated workspace when working onsite. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

Summary of the Job:

Ã? 

Provide expertise in deployment, monitoring and automation of on-premise and cloud systems in support of business and technology teams. Responsible for deployments for application development teams with a focus on automation of the deployment pipeline. Ability to work closely with other team members, software & hardware vendors and end-users to collaboratively design technical solutions that meet the business needs. Establish monitoring practices to be used across technology teams to ensure a holistic view of system health and application experience. Provide technical expertise on large distributed software applications.

Job Specific Accountabilities:

Site Reliability Engineer:

  • Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large distributed software applications
  • Responsible for monitoring applications, creation of best practices and training of others to utilize the monitoring tools for proactive monitoring and resolution
  • Perform deployments to Windows and Linux as well as manage deployment pipelines
  • Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve
  • Responsible for the documentation of team processes and procedures
  • Respond to incidents during on-call duty
  • Design, develop, ship, and champion the creation of software and systems to increase product reliability and organizational efficiency.
  • Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

Site Reliability Engineer

  • Previous experience with Dynatrace, AWS, Python, Scripting Languages, or similar experience.
  • Ideal candidate will have at least an associate degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or related area with 5+ years of experience managing enterprise applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating team building attitude and skills.Ã?  A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and effectively demonstrate team building attitude and skills.
