It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely 100% of the time and will share a hoteling workspace if/when working onsite, as determined by business needs. The incumbent can work remotely from anywhere in FNBO's 8 state footprint.

Summary of the Job:

 

The Associate I, Accounting in responsible for accurate processing of reconciliations of assigned general ledgers and/or customer accounts. The role is also accountable to report account/GL discrepancies identified in support of customer/GL account accuracy and adhere to account reconciliation policy and federally regulated compliance statutes.

About This Role:

 

Duties may include:

  • Accurately prepare and complete assigned reconciliations by established deadlines and in accordance with FNBO policy
  • Participates in enhancing processes, reducing redundancy and creating automation
  • Develops understanding of Business Units and companies served by SFS GL Recon
  • Develops understanding of items processing applicable to General Ledgers and DDAs
  • Demonstrates proficiency with systems and software applicable to assigned tasks

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration required. 
  • CPA and CMA eligible preferred. 
  • Two years of experience with general ledger entries and reconciliation required. 
  • Advanced Excel skills to include pivot tables, macros, and vlookup preferred.
