It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely for three (3) or more days a week and will share a hoteling workspace when working onsite. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

Summary of the Job:

 

Responsible for the successful delivery of small to large scale strategic projects to ensure successful delivery through comprehensive coordination and project management of cross-functional business units and external partners. Focus is on innovation and integration on enhancing the overall core banking business and experience. This role will be responsible for quality execution on program deliverables to support Core Banking. This individual will be the primary liaison and project facilitator with internal and external partners and stakeholders and all third-party relationships that are involved with the project. The role is a combination of project and relationship management and requires an individual to have an in depth understanding of marketing, technology, customer service, and operations from both a strategy and process perspective.

About This Role:

 

  • Lead, develop and deliver small to large scale projects across core banking, consisting of multiple stakeholders and team members, on-time and on-budget.  Projects may include onboarding of new products, process efficiency improvements, functionality improves related to process/product upgrades.
  • Launch new products and desired functionality related to core banking, with ongoing coordination to drive innovation, mutual value, efficiency and customer satisfaction with continual development and improvement.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across various internal and external teams to complete projects on-time and on-budget. 
  • Act as a project manager for core banking projects and initiatives through assigned leader and sponsor, working in conjunction with current project manager/s.
  • Strategize enhancements with internal partners to promote increased integration and growth of business, while providing documentation and information to align with core banking.
  • Provide input, including recommendations and impact analysis, to strategic plan to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Establish a set of standards and best practice procedures for program and project management across core banking that aligns with similar work across the segment.
  • Provide recommendations for the development of standardized technical and project approach (and associated documentation) for each project phase: project initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
  • Apply necessary Project Management guidelines and methodologies to identify, assemble and coordinate appropriate resources for each project component.
  • Ensure efforts align with our Operating Philosophy, Vision, Mission, Values, strategic priorities, and business unit goals and objectives.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties.  Complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls, as required.  Report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations.  Report any suspicious customer and/or account activity
  • Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships with both internal and external partners.   Able to develop and maintain positive and meaningful work relationships and trust with internal and external partners.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

 

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree 3-5 years of related experience
  • Strong leadership experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relationship building/Interpersonal communication skills - Ability to work with multiple internal and external, partners, clients, vendors, and work groups.
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong analytical skills Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in team settings
  • Self-motivated team player with vision and initiative
  • Ability to travel as projects demand

Desired:

  • 3-5 years working in banking or financial company
  • PMP Certification
  • Agile Experience

Compensation:

 

Compensation range (base pay): $71,210.00-$114,158.00

IMPORTANT - This range is for the primary posting location of: Omaha - FN Tower

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
