It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely 100% of the time and will share a hoteling workspace if/when working onsite, as determined by business needs. The incumbent can work remotely from anywhere in the United States. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

About this Role:

 

Lead Product Designer (UI/UX) - Milli By FNBO

As a Product designer you will bring your ideas to life with leading UI designs to create beautiful experiences for Milli customers. The expectation is that you will use your knowledge of UX design thinking principles and practices to merge beautiful experiences with great customer journeys. This is an opportunity to conduct customer-led ideation processes with your teammates to create a wide range of customer experiences and journeys across mobile and web platforms. Your experience will be used to help craft and create design processes that will allow Milli to deliver the best financial experiences in the market.

You might be a good fit for this role if

• You have led UI projects and created beautiful designs in app-first mobile applications
• You have created thoughtful UX patterns that have measurably improved customer experiences
• You have taken an existing design that is standard in the market and created new experience paradigms to challenge the existing norms
• You have worked in a completely digital industry where your customers have only experienced your product or service through a mobile app or website
• You understand how your design interacts with the underlying technology to make them come to life
• You have spent a lot of time talking with customers and understanding their needs and you use that information to influence your designs

In this role you will be accountable for

• Owning the design process end-to-end and being a vocal advocate for design within Milli
• Working within a Mission team that includes Product, Business and Technology to drive product UI patterns and where to use them across our mobile apps and web
• Balancing customer needs and desires with compliance and regulatory requirements
• Growing your understanding of what makes a brand lovable and applying those learnings to every interaction with consistency and continuity
• Developing prototypes and putting them into the hands of customers quickly and often, using their feedback to iterate on new products and ideas
• Creating and maintaining design systems and patterns across applications and experiences
• Continuously evaluating new UI/UX patterns to better create experiences that improve customer interactions
• Leading design sprints where you've practiced ideation methods to rapidly guide small cross-disciplinary teams from insights to concept
• Working with your team to help craft both internal and external assets to help with the storytelling and missions we work on everyday
