The Senior Director, Credit - Point Of Sale Lending is responsible for developing and for monitoring the implementation of credit policies for a new business line, Point Of Sale Unsecured Lending. The role works closely to other consumer credit management, marketing, technology, and finance to align credit policies with the FNBO risk appetite and with other customer, revenue, and efficiency key performance metrics. This position leads FNBO thinking around credit and product testing related to the new business line across multiple channels and partnerships, and quickly adapts to ensure customer adoption and sustainable growth for FNBO.
Knowledge & Skills:
*Deep knowledge in consumer and/or commercial credit management
*Highly analytical, able to work with large amounts of data and understand patterns and trends
*Ability to work in large and medium sized project teams, as self-directed contributor with a proven track record of being detail orientated, innovative, creative, and strategic
*Influencer with great interpersonal skills and proven ability to achieve alignment across a range of different views and interests
*Excellent communicator able to convey complex information in an understandable, compelling, and persuasive manner to senior executives
*Strong aptitude for technical concepts and idea
*Thought leader in technical and marketplace advancements in unsecured consumer loans and buy now pay later products, able to articulate and influence the organization as it identifies new opportunities
Education and Experience:
*Bachelor's Degree required.
*10+ years of experience in credit management
