Review and decision small business credit card applications for new customers and credit limit increase requests for existing customers through the interpretation of personal credit bureau reports, credit scores, credit strategies and the application of department credit standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and decision small business credit card applications and limit increase requests
  • Perform verification of applicant information to satisfy regulatory requirements and screen for potential fraud
  • Communicate effectively with applicants and customers to obtain needed information and efficiently process their requests
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties
  • Accurately identify and document the basis for all credit decisions
  • Comply with all bank and department policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Provide exceptional service to external and internal customers
  • Special duties and projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Ability to understand and follow policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Strong work ethic
  • Punctual and dependable attendance
  • Professional demeanor
  • Desire to learn
  • Proficient in PC operation and Microsoft Office Software Suite

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous credit experience
  • Experience with the ACAPS application processing system
  • Experience with TBS, First Impressions, First Work and eGain
  • Familiarity with Bank Regulations

Required Education:

High School Degree or Equivalent

Preferred Education Requirements:

Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related fields
