Role Description:

The Relationship Associate is responsible for being the 'customer concierge' for the business segment customers. The RA will be the direct customer contact for the business customer's recurring loan/deposit service and capture activities while being available in locations with customer traffic and therefore responsible for upholding our customer experience. Relationship Associates will also work closely with the lenders to support their needs.

1. Key Accountabilities * Greeting and assisting customers both in person and over the phone. Fulfilling research needs of customers on both loan and deposit accounts and engaging in customer correspondence (billing, invoices, etc.)

  • Notarize documents and sign cashier's checks as necessary.
  • Execute loan payments and advances as well as process wires.
  • Loan Payoff Processing: Generate P/O from Foundation, confirm collateral to be release and add other fees.
  • Originate deposit accounts for business customers.
  • Initiate and complete Commercial pipeline reviews. Look for upcoming activities on loans and partner with lenders when appropriate.
  • TBR Processing: Monitor, complete and advance financial and documentation ticklers.
  • Loan Closing Support: Facilitate and assist in loan closings when appropriate.
  • Assist lenders with various tasks within scope of role (Withdrawn/denied loans, waivers, COLA's, reliance reviews, UCC searches, etc.)
  • Generate loan packet and document review. Obtain loan closing items - entity docs, CAW, BFO, title work, insurance, UCC name verification, appraisal notice, etc.)
  • Maintenance both loan and deposit accounts as needed and per requested by customer.
  • Upload all closing documentation to First Work, retain non-mandatory documents and deliver mandatory documents to covenant management team.
  • Track unique lending collateral/compliance such as vehicle lines or construction loans.
  • Execute construction draws.
  • Generate and Process reports as necessary. (NSF, OTP, Past Due, etc)
  • Input and conduct full review, if initiated by banker input, of all business customer loan applications. Ensure all fields are filled out correctly and accurately.
  • On managed business accounts: Open accounts utilizing the correct system and high accuracy and create online self-service accounts for customers.
  • Sell and provide service to business customers on the following: ï?§ Paymaker, PayCor, Remote Deposit Capture, Credit Card Processing through TSYS

2. Compliance: Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties.

  • Complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls, as required.
  • Report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations.
  • Report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
  • Ensure direct reports meet the above requirements and take action to address employee performance issues

Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in loan documentation, credit analysis, compliance, auditing, or equivalent
  • Strong organizational, analytical and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must have the ability to effectively communicate with lending, operations, and technical staff.
  • Ability to work in team environment
