First National Bank is looking for a Lead Quality Software Engineer with strong leadership, collaboration skills in a test automation environment with strengths in manual and automated testing and, background and experiences using a variety of tools and software disciplines. This role will be focused on defining strategies and roadmaps, identifying tools and reference implementations to automate testing and validation for each application type.

Job Duties:
· Build a Strategy for First National Bank's Test Automation practice
o Develop an Enterprise Roadmap for Test Automation
· Identify Tools or Methods to Support Various Application Types
o Create Justification and Cost Model for Proposed Tools/ Work with Architecture Group
o Initiate and Seek Approval/ within Application Architectural Council guidelines
o Initiate and Oversee the Installation and Maintenance of the Tool(s)
· Create a Reference Architecture/Implementation to support both application types
o Web Based
o Client Server Based
o Mainframe Cobol -- preferred
· Identify and classify the applications which are to be in scope.
· Partner with Delivery Managers and Testers to Implement Best Practice
o Assess current testing processes
o Work with Delivery Teams to Build a Roadmap/Strategy for Test Automation
o Provide Workshops on the use of Tools and Best Practices
· Mentor/coach and collaborate with Delivery Team Testers to Build Automated Test Suites for their Applications
· Work with Core Systems and the Platform Innovation Team to develop, maintain and leverage engineered data throughout the stack for Non-Prod/Pre-Prod testing
o Using the test automation tools and best practice to leverage engineered data sets

Job Requirements
Ensures proper testing and Automation policies and guidelines are established for all phases of testing (ie.. unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing and smoke test).
Mentoring and Pairing with other test engineers on assigned projects. Reviews test status and results.
Leveraging analytic tools to help teams identify areas of concentration around test automation
Validates software capability and reliability by conducting and automating, integration, functional, end to end, smoke, UAT tests.
Performs installation and maintenance of testing solutions like QA wizard, or Selenium
Participates in production support by troubleshooting problems and identifying solutions.
Contributes to Testing and Automation guidelines
Enable standards and best practices for TDD
Enable standards and process for backward compatibility testing
Creates and maintains ownership of test cases and test results throughout SDLC.
Leads the enterprise Test Automation and Engineered Data Community of Practice
Promote testing strategies
Lead workshops on testing best practices and tools
Work with the Platform Innovation Team to implement a strategy of Engineered Data across the various development stacks/disciplines that enable reusable data that can be engineered and reset as development teams require
Work with architects to develop guidelines for versioning test data to be used during development and test lifecycles
Enable a strategy for insuring backwards compatibility that aligns with version management

Job Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent is required to have:
7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
4+ years of experience in Software Development. Java or .net (Cobol would be beneficial)
Demonstrated ability to integrate the whole picture through creation of end-to-end test scenarios along with functional, regression, and performance (stress/load) test plans,
Advanced knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, automated testing and terminology TDD
Ability to quickly assess requirements of a project, set performance goals and assess the scope of a project
Experience in reporting test results to different functional groups
Strong collaboration and mentorship skills
Strong troubleshooting and problem analysis skills
A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
A solid understanding of Agile Methodologies
Knowledge of QA wizard and Selenium
Knowledge of Eclipse
Knowledge of Subversion or Git
