As an Intern at Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) you will have the opportunity to learn the primary responsibilities of business operations in lending, insurance, technology, and education. You will have the ability to develop and build on your skills and build lasting relationships with customers, teammates and support the local communities that you serve.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As a Customer Experience Intern at Farm Credit Services of America youll have the opportunity to facilitate the customer journey through the loan process and all aspects of product delivery before, during and after the closing. You'll learn monetary accounting activities, application process, how to address customer inquiries, assist with customer-facing technology and overall management of office operations.
Here are a few things youll be doing:
- Provide 1st level service and support for inbound customer interactions
- Learn the Associations customer service management tool to accurately document interactions.
- Work to resolve Customer inquiries by collaborating with others within FCSAmerica for further support and/or guidance.
- Gain exposure to the Associations digital portal, online banking and other customer-facing tools.
- Discover different loan servicing options and work to gather appropriate documentation to initiate the request.
- Assist in processing cash management requests (wires/ACH/Payment by Phone)
- Travel will be required to the Omaha office three times during the 12-week internship. Orientation, mid-summer and final presentation, dates TBD.
Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Ag Business, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, or other related degree.
Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
Years of Experience
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
Strong desire to pursue a career involving sales, marketing and territory management.
