FCSAmerica is hiring a Sales Development Specialist to join our Sales Enablement team. In this role, you will promote a sales culture with defined sales support responsibilities that drive accountability to empower teammates and optimize selling performance. You will also be responsible for increasing the focus on the buyer’s journey to deepen customer relationships and provide leadership and guidance for the right sales collateral. 

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Embody operational excellence through consistent utilization of tools, resources, best practices, sales data and technology in order to achieve an accelerated sales process. Strong emphasis in improving pipeline development and lead generation to drive market share growth and new customer acquisition. 
  • Assure pipeline optimization by actively reviewing the existing pipeline with Sales Officers to expedite opportunities 
  • Aggregate internal and external market information by gathering intelligence about opportunities and leads for future business potential. Would include creating follow-up actions for leads and opportunities 
  • Serve as the team resource for sales tools advocacy, absorption and education 
  • Support pre-call planning, guidance, content and sales collateral awareness for Sales Officers as they prepare for calls 
  • Assist in industry event planning to ensure successful execution of customer events to align with the correct audience. 
  • Effectively optimize the use of sales tools such as Engage to optimize opportunities by sharing data and insights with Sales Officers and focus on customer education  
  • Collaborate and be a liaison to other teams (Marketing, Cash Management, Rural 1st, AgDirect, Leasing and other lending units), to remain informed regarding applicable updates, opportunities and new value propositions 

Qualifications  

  • Minimum 5 years in a successful sales career including Sales, Sales Support, Lending, Insurance, Marketing, or Lending Support with strong results is preferred 
  • Ability to effectively build collaborative relationships 
  • Effective public and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Entrepreneurial 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Agricultural Business, Agricultural Production, or Economics is preferred
