The Magnify Intern is responsible for participation in a 12 week (40 hours/week) Intern Program with specific emphasis on learning the primary responsibilities of various positions within our Related Services Division. Interns will actively participate in the assigned group intern project. This position will receive an hourly wage of $17 per hour, plus a $250 starting bonus.
Magnify gives farmers and ranchers powerful insights into the profitability of their operations by providing real-time financial reporting. The tool is a cloud-based system that allows producers to share data with partners and advisors anywhere at any time.
POSITION SUMMARY: Contribute to success of the Magnify Team by assisting with onboarding customers to the financial record keeping solution, and assisting with the identification and creation of training content. Gain an understanding of how to complete financial records input and reconcile transactions for customers. Help establish and maintain strong customer relationships, and provide support to other team members. Help coordinate information and work flow among team members including information transfer to regional team members.
The intern will also gain knowledge and experience in the following areas: 1. Complete financial records input and reconcile transactions for customers 2. Assist with identification and creation of training content for the Magnify product 3. Provide support to the Magnify Territory Managers 4. Complete special projects, as assigned
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Characteristics of an ideal candidate include: self motivated and fast learner. Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, including minimum completion of sophomore year of college coursework. Candidates must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Duties require: • Possess advanced computer skills. Proficient in Windows environment using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer. • Possess strong interest in pursuing a career involving sales, marketing and territory management. • Demonstrated strong decision-making and problem solving. • Strong oral and written communication skills, including public speaking. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. •Ability to work effectively in a team environment and effectively demonstrate team building attitude and skills.

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to use computer. This involves reading the screen and keying/typing information. • Ability to reason, judge, compare, calculate, evaluate and critique such information as written materials, numerical data, responses to customer needs and/or other work related activities. • Ability to complete work in an acceptable timeframe and manage a variety of detailed tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and with accuracy to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives and satisfy internal and external customer needs related to the job. • Ability to understand and explain various subject matter and consult on concepts, programs, terminology and methods. • Ability to operate the telephone and respond to calls and in-person inquiries. • Ability to move about the office with occasional reaching and bending. • Ability to successfully interact with and represent the organization to staff, officers, board members, customers, industry specialists, and the public at all levels. • Ability to use a keyboard/calculator/computer. This involves reading the screen and keying/typing information. • Ability to use and understand various computer software related to carrying out essential responsibilities of the position. • Ability to travel by auto or commercial transportation (up to 5%) to carry out essential responsibilities.
