We are currently looking for a UX Designer to join our growing Design Team. You’ll be joining other UX researchers, interaction and visual designers who collaborate closely with product and development teams to create intuitive and useful digital products.

The ideal candidate will have a broad set of UX Design experience, from understanding users and initial product concepts to high fidelity prototypes and validation. They will have an opportunity to work in all phases of the design process.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  1. Collaborate with product and development teams and conduct UX activities from discovery through post-release validation
  2. Engage directly with users and customers to understand their needs, pain points, and motivations
  3. Utilize research to create an information architecture that matches our users’ expectations and mental model
  4. Proactively identify research/design needs and opportunities
  5. Synthesize and share research and design outcomes with designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders in an easily consumable format that illustrates design issues, opportunities, and recommendations
  6. Create experience design artifacts such as research plans, storyboards, journey maps, user flows, personas, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that help illustrate research findings and/or design concepts
  7. Identify competitive and comparative products, best practices, design patterns, and trends
  8. Utilize components and design patterns in our Design System for both web and mobile platforms
  9. Transform complex design problems into delightful and intuitive interfaces using empathy, best practices, and UI design patterns
  10. Be passionate about our customers, advocate for our users, and resolve problems through great design

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Proficiency in Dovetail, Sketch, Figma, InVision, or other research/design tools
3+ Years of UX design and research experience working on mobile and web products
A good understanding of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, usability testing, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design
Ability to work with teammates to understand detailed requirements and design user experiences that meet customer needs and vision
Capability in designing efficient and intuitive interfaces for a diverse range of user personas and use cases
Craft in storytelling to share research findings and design concepts
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership
Familiarity with Product Discovery, Product Management concepts, and agile frameworks preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Design, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research approaches that produce insights and inform the design direction
Experience with Design Thinking and Design Sprint workshops and sketching sessions

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal office environment with the use of computers and telephone systems; no unusual demands
Travel as needed
