Description

The Implementations Associate is an important team member in delivering implementation services to DMSi customers.  The Associate position represents the entry-level staff position for the Implementations Department.  Associates typically are transferred into Implementations after undergoing basic training and orientation in the Customer Support team.  Associates will be assigned to implementation projects and will work under the direction of the assigned Project Manager.  The Associate will assist in implementation tasks as assigned, provide training and support, and assist as an escalation resource for Custom Support issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  1. Provide Implementation Services via on-site visits, teleconference, remote meetings, or work in the office
  2. Assist customer with data setup, data grooming, and data transformation
  3. Perform assigned implementations tasks including documentation, deliverable preparation, and training
  4. Learn DMSi’s products in order to serve customers and execute engagement work plans
  5. Utilizes DMSi’s internal support tools
  6. Assist customer with procedure development and training of business processes
  7. Provide project support during the implementation process
  8. Attend/assist with training for internal personnel or customers/prospects
  9. Assist with internal projects such as improvement initiatives
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  1. General knowledge of and ability to apply ERP System concepts; understand the business process, and accounting principles and procedures
  2. Good verbal and written communication skills
  3. Good analytical, logical, research, and problem-solving skills
  4. Good Project Management and DMSi methodology to provide and manage professional services
  5. Ability to positively interact with all levels of the company and with others outside the company
  6. Ability to maintain a high degree of tact, professionalism, and confidentiality
  7. Ability to operate primary office equipment and computers
  8. Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
College degree in Supply Chain, Business Admin, Accounting, MIS, or equivalent work experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal office environment with the use of computers and telephone systems; no unusual physical demands.  Travel to customer locations
