The Accounting Assistant performs many intermediate accounting functions and provides support to the accounting department. The role also has the responsibility of managing customer accounts, invoicing, collections and customer payments. Maintenance of multiple databases and multiple tracking spreadsheets will be required as well. Contact and relationships with customers and vendors will require excellent communication skills. Various other administrative type tasks may be assigned in addition to acting as a backup to the receptionist as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent work experience. Three to five years of accounting
experience. Strong in Excel, Word and Outlook.
