Position Summary:

Coordinates, manages, and supports academic and assessment processes for the College of Nursing on all three campuses including graduate online tracks using multiple systems and software.  Provides administrative support to the college, faculty, staff, and students, and provides assistance with College of Nursing events as needed. Personal commitment to Creighton’s Mission and Jesuit Values as well as supporting the College of Nursing’s efforts to educate nurses for the future.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates and supports the CoN’s academic, assessment, and evaluation processes using practices based on curriculum, assessment, and evaluation timelines and data management infrastructure with supervisor.

·         Manage all communication of changes, needs, support appropriate to internal or external team members.

·         Point of contact to answer, facilitate, or advise faculty, staff, and students in terms of obtaining support as well as provide support within the scope of the role for multiple systems utilized by the CoN.

·         Build and maintain traditional courses in LMS; preparation and posting of materials on web-based sites using the CoN template.

·         Prepare and maintain academic support documentation related to procedures, policies, and training information.

·         Digital signage support.

 

 

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; may consider combination of other work/education experiences.
  • Four years administrative experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate seamlessly between multiple systems and computer applications.
  • Proficiency with Windows PC, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), browser-based applications, and electronic file management. 
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to compile data and generate reports.
  • Ability to make procedural decisions based on scope of position.
  • Ability to train stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in diverse communities.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands, in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-awareness of personal training needs: ability to locate available training materials, learn from materials, and use the training in day-to-day work environment.

 

Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. normally but will need to be available in off hours due to Phoenix campus time difference.
