IT Quality Assurance Analyst

We are hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will provide software quality assurance support for all Company products. This role utilizes familiarity with the complete knowledge of test processes and planning. You will create supporting documentation, including test plans, use cases, bug and status reports, and interface with customers on major projects. This role requires a proven track record of delivering quality projects within very tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops, enhances, troubleshoots, and executes test plans and test cases for web and API solutions for university websites.
• Analyzes end-user requirements and assist in developing acceptance criteria
• Provides feedback on architectural and environmental design.
• Provides support and participates in facilitating business process changes to improve efficiencies with client schools and departments. Builds strong relationships with clients.
• Ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or related field required
• Five (5) + years of work experience in software quality assurance
• Minimum of one (2) + years of experience testing APIs

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of quality assurance/software testing processes, methodologies, and procedures
• Knowledge of and skilled in Agile/Scrum methodology, and using Jira for defect tracking
• Skilled in Test Automation using Selenium, Jenkins, Fitnesse or like functionality
• Knowledge of design principles, user interfaces, web standards and usability guidelines
• Keen attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
