We are hiring an IT Service Desk Associate to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will provide technical solutions to faculty, staff, and students for all aspects of PC, Apple, and Mobile support and configuration within a wide variety of end-user environments. In this role, you will provide technical support, assistance, and creative solutions as a member of the service desk or field support teams. You will work independently and with a team on moderately complex Microsoft and Apple technology. All tasks and results will be documented in the appropriate ticketing system.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work within an ITIL, metrics-driven service operation environment according to the ITIL framework.
  • Work as part of a pool of equally qualified technicians who may support satellite office locations within the city periodically.
  • Work independently on moderately complex Windows and Apple computers.
  • This is a Service Desk position with hands-on learning environment support responsibilities.
  • The hours for this position are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.



  • Bachelors degree in related area and/or equivalent technical experience required
  • Remote troubleshooting and support experience
  • Minimum of 2 years combined experience in one or more of the following: 
    • Working with Device administration platforms such as Ivanti, JAMF, or equivalent
    • Supporting Mobile devices including Mac, IOS, Android, and Microsoft
    • Familiarity with TCP/IP, network topologies, and related terminology
  •  Must have a current and valid drivers license with a clean driving record for the last 3 years and no major violations within the last 5 years
  • ITIL Foundations Certification or pass within first 6 months of employment
  • Additional technology support certifications are a plus


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Proficient in using and supporting the Microsoft Office platform
  • Familiar with classroom technology support such as projectors, microphones, inputs/outputs
  • Ability to be a self-starter, can multitask, and deliver measurable results
  • Possesses strong research and follow-through skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to be “on call” for rotational duties as part of after-hours support coverage if needed
  • Strong customer service focus while working with clients face-to-face, over the phone, email, or chat
