Instructional Designer II for Office of Medical Education
This position provides curriculum support for the medical degree program. Works collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and staff to support faculty and staff use of the learning management system, lecture capture software, classroom polling software, and other academic technologies to support medical student learning experiences on the Omaha and Phoenix Regional Campuses. In consultation with faculty and staff members, the designer will apply the appropriate blend of pedagogy and technology into course design and recommend appropriate learning tools to achieve course objectives based on education research and best practices. Support faculty and staff development efforts based on sound pedagogic principles, and work independently asn well as establish positive working relationships with a wide range of people within an academic community.
