Research Laboratory Technician II
Creighton University invites application for a Research Laboratory Technician in the Physical Therapy Department, Rehab Science Research Lab. This position will focus on understanding and improving the preparation and performance of whole-body movements for individuals impacted by musculoskeletal injury or disease. To do this, the lab performs kinetic and kinematic measurements, postural control assessments, muscle physiology assessment and other such human movement assessments. The position is responsible for assisting in on-going projects in Dr. Jaffri`s lab and responsibilities include human movement assessments management of research projects, maintaining laboratory manuals and study records, recruiting participants, and collecting and analyzing data.
This position will work Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, depending upon research needs position may require evening, weekend, and holiday work. This position is not a remote position and employee will need to be on campus. The position is fully funded through 12/31/2023. Employment beyond this date is contingent on continued grant funding.
