Registrars Office Coordinator

Oversees the transcript ordering process, which includes troubleshooting problems with the ordering system, running reports, monitoring and researching orders. Serves as a liaison to software, database and service vendors needed to maintain the integrity of the system for reporting. Assists the project management team with resolving system errors. Assists with creating and building transcript records in Banner for student records that predate the current ordering system.

Responsible for ordering and organizing office supplies, managing office equipment, and performs limited financial duties such as purchasing, accounts receivable & payable, and verifying financial transactions processed for the office.

Manages all other office operations and activities including front office support, enrollment verifications, add/drop schedules changes, and degree verifications through the National Student Clearinghouse.

This position works directly with internal and external customers including students, faculty, staff, alum, and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • 2-4 years’ experience in office management, customer service, or related work.

  • A strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport building, listening and questions skills.

  • Excellent written and communication skills along with excellent documentation skills.

  • Ability to investigate and troubleshoot a wide range of issues.

  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.

  • Highly motivated and coachable.

  • Ability to problem solve and use analytical skills.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressured environment.

  • Exceptional customer service skills.

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
