The Strategic Sourcing Coordinator - Contracts is responsible for providing direct assistance to procurement team members. The core responsibilities include entering contracts into the Contract Management System, assisting buyers with general procurement tasks, organizing meetings and booking rooms, retrieving quotes and agreements, providing administrative support for RFP/RFI’s, modifying contracts as instructed, other duties as assigned.
The position primarily involves contact internal to Purchasing but may have some interaction with external constituencies
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelors degree preferred but not required
Four (4) years of related administrative / clerical experience
Proficiency in MS Office to include Word, Excel; PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service skills with ability to critically assess inquiries and provide appropriate information or resolution
using judgment and available resources, and proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced
Ability to function effectively as a team member, while exercising independent and critical judgment.
