Specifically this role will provide the following:
40% administrative support such as developing and managing schedules, scheduling meeting and/or conference and events.
25% Coordinates program activities to include rotations, schedules, reporting, tracking and etc.
20% Tracking students, alumni and mentoring data
15% Enters and maintains related program databases.
This position will work Monday to Friday, normal business hours; depending upon department needs and community involvement position may require evening, weekend, and holiday work.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
4 years administrative and/or office management experience;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel; PowerPoint and Outlook
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to function effectively as a team member, while exercising independent and critical judgment;
Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written);
Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community;
Ability to lead and train staff and/or students;
Knowledge of finance, accounting, and budgeting procedures;
Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports;
Ability to prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands in a deadline-oriented environment;
Ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday work depending upon department needs
