Creighton University, College of Nursing (CON) Grand Island, NE Campus invites applications for “Special Faculty” positions for 2021 Spring, Summer, and Fall with focus on the following specialties from Medical/Surgical, Psychiatric/mental Health, Critical Care, Community Health, Maternal/Child, Pediatrics. The CON hires Special Faculty mostly for the following areas:
1) Labs – Safety & Quality labs, Health Assessment Lab – dependent upon the number of sections of lab a Special Faculty can work anywhere from 2 – 18 hour/week.
2) Clinical rotations- varying numbers of hours/week from 12 – 18 hours/week and will require direct supervision of students in the clinical areas.

Candidates must possess a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) (or earned doctorate in nursing) or possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and be currently enrolled in a MSN program to be considered. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in classroom, clinical, and/or on-line instruction. The candidate must have A current unencumbered license as an RN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for license as required per state bound regulations for teaching across geographic boundaries and have two (2) years of continuous clinical experience. Two (2) years clinical experience in one of the following specialties from Medical/Surgical, Psychiatric/mental Health, Critical Care, Community Health, Maternal/Child, Pediatrics;
