Creighton University, a Catholic and Jesuit institution, is seeking a dynamic executive assistant for our new Phoenix Health Sciences Campus located in mid-town Phoenix. The person in this position will provide administrative support to the Office of the Vice Provost for Health Sciences and the developing Doctor of Pharmacy program. The ideal candidate will have impeccable communication skills and a commitment to integrity and confidentiality. Candidates must be able to perform complex, advanced and diversified administrative duties, including fluency with the Microsoft Office Suite. The ability to manage, summarize and analyze data, with subsequent report generation, is essential. Other responsibilities include communicating and coordinating with various individuals and/or departments; scheduling appointments, meetings, conferences and travel; handling confidential information and files for the program; preparing special reports and correspondence; and coordinating program budgets. Work assignments may be broad in nature and require critical thinking, originality, and ingenuity.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree or higher preferred.
5+ years administrative and/or office management experience. Organizational, time management, and project management skills and experience.
Ability to function independently with appropriate guidance.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
Possession of a high-level of detail orientation.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects.
Ability to think independently, analyze problems and reach solutions.
Competence with Microsoft Office suite products.
