We are looking for a dedicated, well-spoken Human Resources Specialist to join our HR department. The responsibilities of the Specialist include the process of all the new hire paperwork, data entry, employee action changes and other changes in Oracle Fusion, Creightons Human Resource Information system/myhr. Serves as back up and supports the front desk and provides customer services to the campus community.
To be a successful Human Resources Specialist, you should have a good working knowledge of payroll, and experience with new hire processing, HR systems and HR practices. Ultimately, a top-notch Specialist should be a great communicator with a flair for interacting with new people.
High School Diploma and Six years of related work experience, or similar combination of education and experience.
Associates degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Demonstrated customer service focus with excellent interpersonal/human relations skills.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and high attention to detail.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to prepare word documents, mail merges, templates, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
Desire to learn new tasks with increasing responsibilities.
Payroll and Human resources knowledge
Experience with HR Systems/payroll systems preferred.
