to the Director of Campus Ministry, the Chaplain will share in the pastoral
leadership and service of the university community. This part-time position (8-10 hours/week)
will advance the department's mission by overseeing the pastoral support of
diverse Christian students, strengthening ecumenical understanding and
collaboration, and engagement with students of varied religious
traditions. This includes, but is not
limited to, the execution of a weekly worship service and leadership of a
student ministry team. In addition, this
person will partner with the Director of Campus Ministry to co-manage the
Affiliated Ministry policy by reviewing applications of external ministers (and
ministries) who desire to operate on campus in conjunction with faith-based
student organizations and/or Campus Ministry.
This position will meet regularly with recognized Affiliated Ministries
and faith-based student organizations.
