IT Project Manager

Under the direction of the PMO Leadership, the project manager is responsible for leading, planning, organizing, directing and overall management of multiple complex technology based projects. S/He will also be responsible for defining project objectives and developing business cases for proposed projects. In addition to managing projects, s/he will be expected to coach/advise other IT resources acting as project manager for operational projects.
The project manager must be able to assist stakeholders to clarify the business challenge/objectives and set the scope of projects. S/He will also facilitate development of business cases with quantitative information. S/He may perform key business analysis functions or partner with business analysis resources. These activates requires her/him to develop relationships and partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs. S/He will define project approach and deliverables to most efficiently and effectively meet project objectives and stakeholder needs. S/He must be able to lead stakeholders and project team through requirements gathering/solution design deliverables and develop comprehensive project proposal to facilitate governance. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of applicable experience in leading/managing IT focused Project Management office functions.
Strong performance utilizing project management methodologies and practices to deliver complex projects on time, and on budget
Must currently hold or pass the ITIL V3 Foundation Certification Exam within 6 months of start date
