Summary\:

The Coordinator for Student Recruitment, Retention, and Assessment manages the application, recruitment and onboarding of students selected for the Student Support Services program, coordinates a team-based proactive approach to intrusive interventions to aid in student success and retention, and leads the departmental assessment efforts.  This is accomplished through a relationship management approach in working with all academic and non-academic departments involved in the student development and retention efforts across the University.  The Coordinator also serves as an academic coach to an assigned cohort of SSS students. Other duties as specified by supervisor.

Qualifications\:

â?¢ Masters degree in education, counseling, or related fields 

â?¢ Two years experience in related activities such as\: mentoring and working directly with high school and/or college student populations, student advising or student programming, program development, teaching, counseling, and knowledge of the issues and challenges facing first generation and low-income students in higher education

 â?¢ Ability and willingness to work a varying schedule that includes evenings and occasional weekends. Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
