The Educational Opportunity Center Full Time Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, providing services to, and monitoring the progress of an assigned caseload of 500 participants. The coordinator will report to the Project Director. This is a grant funded position, this position may or may not be continued based on the needs of the grant.The Educational Opportunity Center Full Time Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, providing services to, and monitoring the progress of an assigned caseload of 500 participants. A bachelor's degree in education, psychology, counseling, sociology, or a related academic discipline
Minimum of two years of direct work experience with populations similar to those served by the project
Minimum of two years of experience that involved networking with community agencies, faith-based organizations, and/or educational institutions
Demonstrated knowledge of current educational resources, trends and information that are typically used to deliver services, college planning, academic success/study skills, career development, and personal development
Demonstrated experience in implementing college preparation, academic success, career exploration and personal development workshops and activities
