Job Description

The Systems Analyst II brings an analytical mindset to the CSG Customer Delivery team. They are able to build requirements and solutions that satisfy internal and external customer needs and provide support to help them achieve their business objectives. Tactically they will help to coordinate, manage, QI and turnover components or projects into production and/or test environment, utilizing approved standards and methodologies. Automation is a key attribute of this role. The Systems Analyst is relied upon to lead and manage automation efforts aimed at leaning out operational tasks. They also participate in resolution of problems associated with running production or test cycles.

  • Leverage strong CSG product knowledge and best practices to guide customers in the implementation, support, and maximization of their CSG product portfolio
  • Analyze configuration changes for accuracy and then submit those changes to the production environment
  • Conduct research, analysis, education, and training on configuration issues
  • Submit and oversee small to medium maintenance projects
  • Supports the agreed upon Best Practices of SAFe Agile
  • Understands fully and practices Culture and Agile principles. Beginning to use Servant Leader concepts
  • May play Product Owner or Scrum Master roles as required
  • Support after hours on-call duties, as necessary
  • SQL Server, Oracle, ODBC and Reporting experience desired. Expertise in this area will be used to help consolidate data from multiple source systems to aid in developing a single view into customer experience
  • Identify and implement moderately complex efficiencies and process improvements
  • Moderately complex problem resolution and recovery
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required
  • Incumbent is accountable for professional working behavior to include; building and maintaining constructive working relationships, implementing proactive and concise communication, acting as a resource to colleagues, and engaging in collaborative thinking and problem solving while demonstrating CSG's core competencies and values
  • Must be able to travel internationally and/or domestically (dependent upon location of the role) up to 10% of the time.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, and/or a related field
  • 2 - 4 years working in IT industry or equivalent
  • Strong issue management skills; analytical, technical and problem solving skills to identify and facilitate problem resolution in a timely manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal/external clients at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to consult with the customer and assist them in defining their needs based on product industry knowledge under minimal supervision
  • Ability to travel to site locations up to 10%
  • Highly organized and detailed-oriented with the flexibility and adaptability to respond to changes
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize deliverables and meet deadlines
  • Skill in Confluence, Jira, and / or Remedy experience preferred
