Faculty – Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology

Childrens Hospital and Medical Center (CHMC) seeks qualified candidates for the Section of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology faculty. As a premier pediatric specialty healthcare center, we prioritize exceptional care, education, research, and advocating for children's health.

The Section of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology is a dynamic division comprised of six highly skilled and experienced cardiac anesthesiologists. We provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, from neonates to adults, with congenital heart disease. Our team tailors procedures and treatments to meet the unique needs of each patient and their family.

CHMC is the sole comprehensive pediatric heart surgery program in Nebraska, ranked highly by US News and World Report since 2011. With three accomplished cardiac surgeons leading the way, we are experiencing growth and planning to expand our cardiothoracic operating rooms.

The successful candidate will be board certified/eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology with extensive pediatric cardiac anesthesia experience and will receive an appointment at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in the appropriate academic rank. Successful candidate will join an expanding division consisting of a diverse group of faculty, CRNAs, fellows, and residents. Faculty have academic appointments at the University of Nebraska Medical Center at the appropriate rank. Opportunities for engagement in research, quality improvement and education are available in addition to pursuit of academic advancement in accordance with the UNMC Promotion and Tenure guidelines.
