Faculty - Pediatric Endocrinology
Children’s Hospital & Medical Center, with the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, is currently recruiting Pediatric Endocrinology faculty to share in the clinical responsibilities with six faculty members and an established APP team. This individual will hold a faculty position at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine commensurate with experience, and investigators will be given adequate packages and protected time for research.
Children’s Hospital & Medical Center is the only full-service, pediatric health care center in Nebraska, providing expertise in more than 50 pediatric specialty services to children across a five-state region and beyond. Children’s is home to Nebraska’s only Level IV regional NICU and the state’s only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. A regional heart center, it also offers expertise in pediatric heart transplantation. Children’s is focused on extraordinary clinical care, education, basic science and translational research and advocacy and is embarking on transformational programmatic and physical growth. Opening in 2021, the new Hubbard Center for Children will be home to an additional 100 patient beds, an expanded NICU, a dedicated Cardiac Care Unit, a new Cancer & Blood Disorders Unit, expanded surgical space, an expanded Radiology and Emergency Department and more. The Child Health Research Institute was established in 2017 and aims to assist investigators with start-up funding and infrastructure for clinical, basic science or translational research. Children’s is recognized as a 2020-21 Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report in four pediatric specialties: Cardiology & Heart Surgery, Gastroenterology & GI Surgery, Pulmonology & Lung Surgery and Urology.
