Ambulatory Implementation Analyst, Specialty Pediatric Clinic (8788.1)

Job Description

Just like the children we serve, Children's is growing quickly and hiring a Ambulatory Implementation Analyst. The Implementation Analyst conducts data analysis, process documentation and gap and opportunity analysis. Schedule workgroup sessions, prepare meeting materials, and documents and distributes decisions and discussion points from meetings.

Essential Functions/Competencies

  1. Works collaboratively with project stakeholders to document current state process flows and opportunities, document future state process flow decisions, developing current state templates and opportunities for all in scope providers


  1. Document and consolidate visit types by specialty, visit durations by visit type and provider, weekly available and unavailable hours by providers, and unavailable reasons by provider. Document Visit Type Blocks by provider, Support provider future state template discussions and document decisions in future state template build.


  1. Documenting future state scheduling protocol decisions (Questionnaires and Decision Trees), Developing current state provider diagnosis matrix for each specialty, Documenting future state diagnosis matrix decisions for each specialty, and develop Diagnosis to Visit Type mapping by specialty


  1. Developing and distributing weekly workgroup meeting materials, Documenting and distributing weekly workgroup meeting minutes, Consolidate all design decisions into specialty technical build workbook.


  1. Prepare and conduct data analysis utilizing MS Excel (e.g. physician productivity, staffing analyses, etc


  1. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through effective and consistent communication.


  1. Perform other job related duties as assigned

  • Current technical knowledge of project management
  • Current knowledge of applying technology focused in the area of health care
  • Skill in use of MS Office applications.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills necessary for problem solving
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, a medical profession, or related field is required; experience may be substituted for education
  • Minimum three years’ experience in healthcare field required
  • Previous Epic clinical application experience and certification preferred
