Borsheims is looking for a Holiday Gift Gallery Sales Associate to join our team. At Borsheims, we take pride in providing our Signature Service to every customer, and you will play a vital role in helping us do that. 

Our Sales Associates are responsible for assisting customers in-store, online, and over the phone with selecting and purchasing merchandise in order to maximize company sales; put out new merchandise in cases, organizes, and cleans sales areas; and processes sales, repairs, returns, and other transactions. You will be asked to communicate with various team members and customers.  If you have prior sales experience and enjoy assisting customers to find the perfect item to celebrate special moments in their lives, you might be the gem we’ve been searching for!   

You Are:

  • Personable. Greet customers promptly and engage with them while identifying each customer’s needs and fulfilling those needs.

  • Observant. Maintain department appearance by organizing displays and cleaning regularly. Restock merchandise to ensure all inventory is represented on the sales floor. Monitor inventory and inform appropriate staff of out-of-stock, misplaced, or missing merchandise.

  • Service-Minded. Promote Borsheims’ mission and provide our Signature Service to customers by providing a unique and engaging experience. Support our omnichannel approach by assisting customers in-store, online, and over the phone. Deliver a first-class shopping experience by introducing customers to our vast selection of merchandise, showcasing product knowledge and explaining features and benefits, responding to customer concerns and questions, reviewing price, and closing the sale.

  • Detail Oriented. Complete paperwork according to company policy and procedures, ensuring it is legible, detailed, and accurate. Perform weekly audits of open sales orders to ensure all orders are finalized.

  • Sales-Driven. Use suggestive selling techniques for add-on and future sales. Proactively inform customers of upcoming events, new products, complimentary products, and more. Maintain a client base and actively call and prospect customers for vendor events, special sales, and future promotions using traditional clienteling methods and customer relationship management (CRM) tools. 

  • Eager to Learn.  Like to learn and participate in continuing education, training programs, and seminars.
