Responsible for Underwriting tool maintenance and batch processing, quoting utilities, the partnership with IS, and underwriting data and analytics in the global data guidance and disciplines for the organization. Ensure integrity, accuracy and sustainability for organizational as well as actuarial data marks to suit the enterprise-wide vision for a data environment.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for quoting utilities and third party stop loss reporting.
  • Responsible for Underwriting tools and processes and regular maintenance associated.
  • Identify, establish and sustain appropriate data marks are in place.
  • Collaborate with IS to define and maintain requirements of the data environment.
  • Drive projects and initiatives related to the development of data marks and rating systems.
  • Serve as business owner for internal projects when appropriate.
  • Provide consultative and material support to the Actuarial team for complex data needs.
  • Responsible for the coaching and mentoring of the Actuarial Services data team

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelorâ??s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance
  • Six (6) yearsâ?? experience in data analytics and rating system support

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.

The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments.

The ability to work well in a team environment and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.
