This position supports the assigned team by providing strategic direction to optimize business processes. The role is accountable to provide guidance and to communicate the technical and business changes with internal and external customers. The individual will provide analysis and direction, where subject matter expertise is required.
What you'll do:
Operates as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive business and technical knowledge on the feasibility and implementation of system and process changes, including post deployment operational support.
Engages the appropriate individuals, teams and/or groups regarding technology/platform changes that affect the business.
Provides final approval for requirements, functional specs and user acceptance test scenarios.
Participates on internal and external cross-function work groups and provides guidance and shared knowledge on technical and interpersonal escalated issues.
Provides accurate provider data analytics to the assigned administration team and collaborative partnerships as appropriate.
Works on association releases, complex special projects, and provides training/mentoring to assigned team.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare, technology, business, or a related field OR 2+ years experience in relative field
Proficient in SQL server
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building business requirements, health insurance, insurance claims processing, or analytical reporting
Previous experience with performing test cases that correctly define system functionality within a given context and report analytics is required
Ability to demonstrate leadership and positively influence others within the scope of the role is expected
Very strong communication skills
The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:
Previous experience with facilitation, training or agile/scrum processes
Previous insurance/healthcare industry experience
