Job Description

The developer works directly with the business and other IT Teams to ensure that technical solutions are put in place to serve these communication objectives, and that these solutions are aligned with established strategic goals and policies.

What you'll do:

  • Use Microsoft ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET and the following programming languages and components: C#, Web API, Visual Studio, LINQ to SQL, Entity Framework, Angular, and JavaScript
  • Use Microsoft Azure Cloud constructs for development: Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, and Redis Cache
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements and solutions
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical groups to ensure software design and deliverables are understood by all parties
  • Attend and participate in enterprise technical discussions to exchange new ideas and improvements
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to ensure accurate delivery of solutions
  • Good communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively with other team members
  • Assists in training and mentoring less experienced team members

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in related field
  • The ability to work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers
  • 3 years' experience in software development/engineering, integration and architecture
  • 3 years' experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Web API, and web security
  • Solid understanding of API technologies
  • Good understanding of application security
  • Good understanding of SQL programming skills, preferably with SQL Server
  • Experience with object-oriented design principles and architectures
  • Experience with build automation, continuous integration, and source code branching strategies.
  • Experience with Agile software development practices

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect with AD FS 2016, Azure AD, or other identity platform
  • Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, CMS, DHTML, MVC, Web API, XML, jQuery, Ajax).
  • Experience with Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with WCF, XML, SOAP
  • Experience with NoSQL database design and usage, such as Cosmos DB
  • Healthcare product knowledge (EDI / HIPAA transactions)
