Job Description

Responsible for administering identity and security access for user and functional accounts within the Active Directory and CoreLink infrastructures. This includes administering Users, Groups and Shares in the environment and requires NTFS and role-based rights knowledge. This includes work related to the identification, classification, and following BCBSNE user access policy and administration. This position provides controls and validation services to ensure the effectiveness of information security, and user provisioning measures. The IAM Analyst II also manages, monitors, and supports infrastructure and applications associated with authentication and authorization technologies.  An IAM Analyst may have an opportunity to participate on projects when new technologies are introduced.

What you'll do:

  • Perform advanced security administration (grant, move, revoke) on various platforms and systems, ensuring access is granted in accordance with the Logical Access Control policy, established standards and procedures within a timely manner.
  • Analysis of requests for potential risk before action.  Analyst must use judgment to determine if access is excessive and requires additional approvals
  • Escalating, rejecting and querying requests where necessary. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve security system access issues. 
  • Answer general inquiries regarding information security practice or security access. 
  • Participate in audit support activities, as they pertain to CyberSecurity and Identity & Access Management for both internal and external audits.
  • Perform required activities to resolve open audit issues
  • Recommend procedural changes to enhance the functionality of Identity Access Management Team. Identify opportunities to automate or streamline current processes.
  • Enforce consistent processes and segregation of duties
  • Perform periodic elevated/privileged user review
  • Provide input for Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Metric reporting

LEVEL II- To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • 4-5 years experience granting role-based access within applications
  • 4+ years experience in Active Directory administration
  • Deep knowledge of NTFS and file share/server volume security hierarchies
  • 4 Years of College or Bachelor’s Degree, or comparable work experience
  • Prior experience with Enterprise Change Control procedures

      The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

  • Familiarity with IT Audit lifecycle
  • Prior experience using an IDM suite (CA, SailPoint, MIM, Oracle IDM, etc)
  • Prior experience handling mainframe access requests
  • Security+ or comparable ISC2 certification
  • Experience scripting with PowerShell
  • Basic understanding of Linux root permissions
  • Understanding of GPO/PSO and RSOP hierarchies

 

LEVEL III- To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • 6+ Years Experience granting role-based access within applications
  • 6+ Years Experience in Active Directory administration
  • Understanding of GPO/PSO and RSOP hierarchies
  • Deep knowledge of NTFS and file share/server volume security hierarchies
  • Deep knowledge of an Identity and Access Management Platform (SailPoint, CA IDM, etc.)
  • 4 Years of College or Bachelor’s Degree, or comparable work experience

      The strongest candidates will also possess:

  • Familiarity with IT Audit lifecycle and frameworks
  • Understanding of change control and experience building solutions in lab/dev environments, producing test cases, etc
  • Security+ or comparable ISC2 certification
  • Extensive Experience scripting with PowerShell
  • Basic understanding of Linux root permissions
