Bachelors degree in industrial engineering, health systems engineering, healthcare administration, organizational development, a health-related profession, or a similar field of study with a strong analytical base is required. Masters degree is preferred.
Lean (or Lean Six Sigma) black belt certification or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
Experience & Skills\:
Minimum of 4 years of progressively more responsible experience in industrial engineering, quality/process improvement, or business is required.
Minimum of 2 year experience in Lean or Lean Six Sigma deployment is required, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Basic analytical skills necessary for the evaluation of systems and changes and preparation of a variety of reports and analyses. Must also possess a level of analytical ability to problem-solve, evaluate, plan, and direct process improvement projects and benchmarking activities for all clinical and non-clinical departments.
Basic interpersonal skills necessary to build effective relationships and to adequately explore complex/sensitive situations with executive management, department management, line staff, physicians, and regulatory agencies when planning and evaluating work flows, policies/procedures, and systems, as well as the ability to explain, teach, and present the related issues to these groups.
Experience in managing multiple, concurrent projects.

Documented success meeting the Accountabilities of an CHI Health PE Level 1 preferred.
