Must have successfully completed the state approved course for Nursing Assistant and passed both the skills and the written competency tests.
Must be on the Nurse Aide Registry of the State in which you work.
BLS or BLS instructor certification is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following\: American Red Cross\: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, American Safety and Health Institute\: CPR, PRO, must say Professional Level-with AED, and American Heart Association\: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
Preferred\: Six months experience in an acute care hospital or skilled care facility in the acute care area. One year of clerical work experience or related experience in a health care field and entry level computer experience.
Ability to organize and prioritize work. Job requires individual and group interaction. Job requires knowledge of and ability to operate computer. Job requires continuous reading skills, verbal communication skills and written communication skills.
